The planned 10k long run started off strong, I felt great, and i just stopped caring about pace and gave it all I got. The result was a new PR in 5k, sub 35 minutes, but the following 5km were way slower than intended, and I ended up walking for at least a km and a half.
In hindsight I shouldn’t have done what I did, but it did feel great, and it was all done before my semi-annual iron IV that fixes my chronic iron deficiency and anemia.
